We have started out the first few days of first grade studying books about
dogs to match our room's decor this year!!! We have enjoyed, in particular, stories from author, Gene
Zion about Harry, the Dirty Dog. This white dog with black spots has some fun adventures everywhere
he goes. Ask your Gator to tell you about one of them tonight!!
We have gone over routines at Grove and in the classroom, practiced inside recess and working with
partners!! Everyone seems happy to be here and ready to learn!
