Hello Grove Gator Parents and Friends,
Welcome to my blog about our first grade experiences during this school year. I have never used this format to communicate with parents before, but look forward to the chance to share pictures, quotes, homework and information with you on-line.
We have had an awesome beginning to our first grade year so far! Already, we have gotten to know one another with our "All About Me" bag activity and extra recesses! We have also started to work on our Writer and Reader's Workshop activities during the morning.
I am excited about these curriculum components and cannot wait to share more about them with you at First Grade Curriculum Night, Tuesday, September 4th. We will meet in 1KC (Room 107) at 6:30 p.m. Please remember, this is a Parents Only meeting!! If only one parent can come, there will be an information packet sent home with details of the meeting!
