December's Highlights!

 

 

 

December brought many opportunities for reading and writing about the holiday season!

 

 

 

We toured the world to find out how other cultures and countries celebrate the Season.  We played their games, made some crafts and learned how children all over the world welcome Santa.

 

 

Our Holiday Concert was a success...they are still singing the songs!!!

 

 

We sent good wishes to wounded soldiers, courtesy of Mr. Ploense (2nd grade, Mrs.
Ploense's husband).

 

 

We also just took some time to perform a holiday reader's theater for other Grove Gators;  read, write and listen to each other's stories from Reading and Writing Workshop!!

 

 

 

 

 

We also made some special keepsakes!!!  It was a wonderful month and I am so thankful and blessed to have these Gators in my life!!!
