Leapin' Leprechauns!!!

Well, the Lads and Lassies of 1KC tried their best to snag
a leprechaun that's been leaving footprints and teeth! all around the outside of Grove School by making traps.

   

Unfortunately, we were unable

 to catch one of the little guys...

and we found quite a surprise this morning!!!

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!!

   Thanks to Theodor Seuss Geisel,aka, Dr. Seuss,we have some of the richest children's literature around!  We had a wonderful day celebrating with Seuss centers and making portraits of the Cat in the Hat!  We will continue celebrating all week with more stories, activities and fun!

Blubber, Baby!

We experimented with our own version of blubber
(shortening) in the snow today! Since penguins find
it so useful, we put it to the test and put one hand
in the blubber bag and one directly in the snow! Then,
we recorded our results!  Take a look!
